Operations on prosthetics and dental aesthetics:

Fixed prosthetics

The dental prosthesis par excellence is the fixed prosthesis, also commonly called fixed denture, as it replaces missing teeth by best simulating the natural dentition. It is called “fixed” as it is fixed to the natural teeth (via cement), or to dental implants (via cement or screws).

Semi fixed prosthetics

A semi-fixed denture is the dental prosthesis that attaches to dental implants.

An excellent feature of semi fixed prosthetics on implants is that they can be easily removed for cleaning. But even when placed back in the mouth, they are firmly fixed. They can be removed and is inserted in a simple straight-forward manner, with a “click” method.

The fixed prosthesis on teeth or fixed dental bridge is one of the most successful and safest options, where it is not possible to place dental implants. They also serve to replace short sections where there is an absence of teeth. This solution requires the presence of two adjacent teeth, on which the dental bridge rests and remains fixed.
